Adult Development
Ready to level up your volleyball skills and advance your gameplay? Adult Development Program is perfect for adult mens and womens to learn and develop volleyball skills in a fun and inclusive environment. Our friendly and professional Coaching Team are passionate about teaching athletes of all ages and abilities with an emphasis on teamwork, communication and skill mastery. Our uniquely structured 10-week course focusses on skill acquisition and improvement in key areas:
- Serving, digging, setting, spiking and blocking techniques
- Hand-eye coordination, jumping footwork and arm swing mechanics
- Offensive strategies and defensive positions systems
Our highly qualified and accredited Coaching Team have decades of playing and coaching experience to help you build confidence and knowledge of the sport. This comprehensive 10-week course guides players through the natural progression of volleyball with the goal of achieving more consistent and aggressive rallies i.e. serving and passing, setting and spiking, blocking and defence.
How to Register
We welcome new members to join on a first-come, first-served basis. Returning players from the previous term will be prioritised with early access to register for the next term before it becomes available to new members. All players must first register for 'JSI Recreational Adult Membership - $75' which includes Player Accident Insurance.

- Basic playing positions (setters, middle blockers & outside hitters)
- Dynamic drills and competitive scenarios (4 - 2 rotations)
Adult Intermediate
- Moderate playing experience (6 - 12 months)
- Progress and refine skills (serving, digging, setting, spiking & blocking)
- Specialised playing positions (setters, liberos, middle blockers, opposite & outside hitters)
- Challenging drills and competitive scenarios (4 - 2 rotations)
Adult Advanced
- Extensive competitive experience (SVL or Social Competitions)
- Excellent ball control and placement (pepper warm-up)
- Specialised playing positions (setters, liberos, middle blockers, opposite & outside hitters)
- Focus on skill mastery and execution (5 - 1 rotations)
Adult Introductory (1.5 Hours)

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before signing up to our Adult Development Programs. By signing up to our Adult Development Programs, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Club Membership
- All participants must have at least 'JSI Recreational Membership 2024/25' in order to participate in any volleyball competitions, trainings or events hosted by JSI.
- Club membership cannot be shared or transferred to another person.
- It is an annual club membership which commences on 1st April 2024 and expires on 31st March 2025.
Conditions of Entry
JSI Volleyball Academy (JSI) reserves the right to refuse entry or remove participants from any volleyball competitions, trainings or events hosted by JSI, where JSI has reasonable grounds to suspect a participant has breached any of the following terms and conditions:
- No smoking, consumption of alcohol or illicit drugs at any time.
- No consumption of food on the court at any time.
- Appropriate indoor sports shoes and sportswear must be worn at all times.
- Behave appropriately at all times and follow the lawful directions of JSI and venue staff. Derogative comments, abusive language and inappropriate or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
Participants with serious medical conditions and/or recovering from an illness or injury should advise JSI staff upon entry.
Refunds & Cancellations
- All online registrations and purchases are final. JSI will not issue monetary or credit refunds due to change of mind.
- Participants who are unable to attend may not substitute their registration with another person.
- JSI reserves the right to review reasonable requests for refunds or make-up lessons on a case-by-case basis i.e. injury, sickness or personal extenuating circumstances.
- JSI will automatically process refunds if a volleyball competition, training or event is postponed or cancelled by JSI.
Photography & Videography
- Photography and videography captured during any volleyball competitions, trainings and events hosted by JSI may be used as marketing material for JSI's social media and print media without any compensation.
- Participants may download and share JSI's photography and videography for personal use.
